Richter said if he had to learn a piece urgently, he would practice 13 hours per day;
When Joanna MacGregor started her career as a concert pianist, she practiced at least 8 hours per day;
Lang Lang did 12 hours per day since his teenage years;
Yuja Wang... God knows how many hours she practiced to play all of Rachmaninoff Concertos in a single concert.
I did 6.5 hours today, and already felt slumped.
It seems like I still have a long long long way to go in order to become a professional concert pianist.
Just curious:
How did these people make time for relationships?
Perhaps it's necessary for me to take an extra time-management course ...
